The success, popularity and growth of any moot court competition depends largely upon the quality of its judges.

For 25 years, The John Marshall Law School International Moot Court Competition in Information Technology and Privacy Law has been adjudicated by an exceptional group of judges from every level of federal and state courts, experienced technology and privacy law practitioners, and legal scholars. Many of our judges have returned year after year. Because of their generous contributions of time and experience, this competition has become know as one of the finest legal honors programs in the world.

Beginning with the inaugural competition in 1982, judges have challenged and motivated our competitors to achieve excellence in oral advocacy. The tradition of exceptional benches has continued throughout the history of the competition.

ILLINOIS MCLE CREDIT AVAILABLE

Pursuant to Illinois Supreme Court Rule 795 (d)(6)(I), continuing legal education credit may be awarded for time spent judging and preparing to judge a moot court competition. CLE credit may also be available for other states.

...participating judges and their guest are invited to join us for the 26th Annual International Moot Court Competition in Information Technology & Privacy Law Judges' Dinner. The dinner will be held on Friday, October 19, 2007, at Morton’s - The Steakhouse, 65 East Wacker Place. Cocktails begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m.
